Whitpain appoints new Township Manager to replace retiring Pronczak

The Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors have appointed Eric Traub as their new Township Manager.

Traub, who is currently the finance director in Lower Merion Township, will replace retiring Township Manager Roman Pronczak.

Pronczak who was appointed in 2011. Traub will be formally appointed on June 5, officials said.

“After Roman announced his retirement, the Board embarked on an extensive search to find our next manager,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Scott Badami. “Eric comes to us with a wealth of experience and is very capable of guiding the Township in the years to come. My fellow Supervisors and I will have much more to say about Eric’s arrival and Roman’s much deserved retirement in the coming weeks.”
