Nicole Cadwalader, the 30 year old woman who stole the dog from Weavers Way last week, has been criminally charged according to the police.   She has been charged with: Theft of Moveable Property, Receiving Moveable Property, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkeness.

The dog’s owner reported the dog missing at 8:22pm, and immediately posted the surveillance photo to social media where the public helped to identify Cadwalader and led police to her address. The police found Cadwalader at her residence and she turned the dog over. According to the police, Cadwalader has mental issues and a long history with the Ambler Borough Police Department.

A preliminary hearing has been set for April 24th.
