Weaver’s Way and Wake Coffee Roasters in Ambler are offering Halfday, the world’s first prebiotic iced tea. Halfday has a variety of classic iced tea favorites with 3-4g of sugar and added plant fiber for gut health.

The beverage was founded in New Jersey by Kayvon Jahanbakhsh, who was diagnosed with a severe digestive disease that put his Olympic swimming dreams on hold. After being hospitalized for three months, Kayvon searched for ways to incorporate better habits into his daily routine. One way was adding prebiotic fiber into the teas he was making every day. One of his health goals was to limit sugar and introducing more digestive-supporting ingredients.

According to Jahanbakhsh, after learning that 95% of Americans don’t consume enough fiber, he and a partner wanted to make digestive wellness easier, more fun, and delicious.
