Anonymous Drug Take-Back Initiative Hosted by the Upper Dublin Township Police Department on April 28th

The Upper Dublin Township Police Department will be hosting a Drug Take-Back Initiative on Saturday, April 28 from 10am until 2pm at the Upper Dublin Township Police Department located at 801 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington.

A Drug Take-Back Initiative is an opportunity for people to rid their homes of expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs and other medications. Whether you have a small or large amount of these items, this is a great opportunity for safe disposal.

This program is absolutely anonymous; there will be no questions or requests for identification made by the police officers present. The program aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible manner of disposal, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse that exists with many medications.

The following items will be collected:

  • 1. Controlled Medication
  • 2. Non-Controlled Medication
  • 3. Over-the-Counter Medication
  • 4. Cream Medication
  • 5. Liquid Medication

*Please be sure to remove any personal information from all bottles and/or packages, prior to the collection*

The following items will NOT be collected:

  • 1. Sharps
  • 2. Syringes
