As AroundAmbler.com reported in November 2023, with the closure of The Lucky Well at the end of the year, Cantina Feliz in Fort Washington announced that it would buy the property at 109-115 Butler Avenue in Ambler and make that its new home.

On the February 6th agenda for Ambler’s Borough Council is the transfer of the liquor license from Whitemarsh Township to the Borough of Ambler. During the meeting, the council members will vote on taking the first step in the process on whether to advertise a hearing that will take place in the future.

When a liquor license is transferred between municipalities it requires the approval of the municipality that it is being moved to. Once granted, it moves through an approval process with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
