Construction for the new Wissahickon Boys And Girls Club in Ambler recently kicked off with ground-breaking ceremony and a giant check.

The 27,000 sqft facility will feature homework classrooms, kitchen, games and technology spaces, outdoor play areas, and more.

The Club is located at 240 Maple Avenue and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2024.

“Our location is in the heart of the community we serve,” Robert K. Kreamer, CEO of North Penn and Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club, said in a statement.
