Lower Gwynedd and Upper Dublin townships gives update on trash collection with pending storm

Lower Gwynedd and Upper Dublin townships have issued notices about how trash collection will be impacted by the snow storm expected on Friday, January 19th. Below are the notices:

Lower Gwynedd Township
Due to the pending winter storm and the current delay in trash collection, Republic Services will begin trash collection earlier than normal on Friday, January 19th. Please be aware that in order to complete their collection in advance of the storm, collection may occur before 6am. They will do their best to complete their collection. There is also the possibility that the curbside Christmas Tree collection scheduled for Saturday, January 20th, may not be completed. If they are unable to collect the trees, they will send a separate truck out on Monday, January 22, 2024, for trees only.

Upper Dublin Township

Due to the impending snow storm, trash & recycling collections in Area D will begin at 5:00 am on Friday, January 19th. All trash & recycling carts in Area D (Friday collections) must be placed at the curb on Thursday evening (January 18th). Trash & recycling trucks will collect each street in Area D once and will not return. Bulk trash & cardboard collections have been rescheduled from Friday, January 19th to Monday, January 22nd.
