A recent article from RoadSnacks identifies the 10 Snobbiest Cities in Pennsylvania and Montgomery County leads the list with a whopping five cities out of the possible ten listed. RoadSnacks tabulated their list by creating a post system which ranked median household income, median home price, percentage of the population with a college degree, private schools per capita, theaters per capita and art galleries per capita. Here is the list:
- Blue Bell
- Fox Chapel
- Paoli
- Collegeville
- Swarthmore
- Doylestown
- Fort Washington
- Glenside
- Montgomeryville
- Media
The next highest county is Delaware County with two cities represented. We find it interesting that their tabulations didn’t include any actual anecdotal evidence. Moreover, just because an area has well educated people with a taste for private schools and theater and art, doesn’t make it snobby.
In fact, if I wasn’t currently getting my yacht cleaned I would take my Rolls Royce over to RoadSnacks and have my butler give them the thrashing of their lives!
