Proposed community center back on agenda for Whitpain Township’s Board of Supervisors

The proposed community center is on the February 6th agenda of the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors. According to a notice from the township, the supervisors will resume the discussion on the community center, which will include potential sites. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the township building.

No decisions are scheduled to be made during the February 6th meeting. It is anticipated that the issue will be before the supervisors during the February 20th meeting and will include selection of a site and the scope of work for phase one of the project.

The current targeted location for the community center the township’s dog park in Centre Square Park. If this site is selected, the dog park would be relocated.
