Sergeant Michael Rogge of the Lower Gwynedd Police Department will take his last ride in law enforcement on Friday, March 29 at 9:00am at the Lower Gwynedd Township Building.

Light refreshments and a rocking chair for the honoree will be provided.

Rogge has been with the department for 33 years. He assumed the position of sergeant in 2007.

“He’s very well-qualified to take the position and it was a very natural move upward,” Lower Gwynedd police Chief John Scholly told The Reporter.

Prior, he was in charge of the traffic safety unit for two years.
