Sumneytown Pike in Lower Gwynedd Township is or was closed between DeKalb Pike/202 and Swedesford Road due to an accident that took place at approximately 8:00pm, according to NorthPennNow.

According to their article, an SUV was fully engulfed in flames when the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene at 1712 Sumneytown Pike.

The Fire Department of Montgomery Township and Lower Gwynedd Township Police lent assistance.

There were no reports of injuries to the driver or others, NorthPennNow said.
