The Wissahickon School District recently announced that all K-12 schools will have early dismissal on Friday, January 5, due to President Biden’s visit to Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell.

A source told us the early dismissals are due to road closures for the President’s motorcades.

The dismissal schedule for students is outlined below:

• Middle School will dismiss at 11:00 a.m.
• High school will dismiss at 11:05 a.m.
• All elementary schools will dismiss at 11:50 a.m.
• All after-school activities will operate as normally scheduled.
• The YMCA program will operate as normally scheduled.
