Wissahickon Valley Watershed Conservation Crew is Looking for Volunteers

Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s Conservation Crew is a small but dedicated group of volunteers committed to keeping the Green Ribbon Trail and their preserves in good shape through trash removal, pruning, trail repairs, tree plantings, and more. Regular volunteers do a lot, but they could use an extra hand to do even more!

The next scheduled work day is Saturday, August 17th from 9am- 12pm with refreshments provided following the morning work.

You be repairing wet spots and pruning the Green Ribbon Trail corridor between Butler Avenue and Morris Road, and may also do some light gardening work at the headquarters.

Sign-ups will be limited to 16 people- RSVP by Monday, August 12th to patrick@wvwa.org.
